James Farrell

James T. Farrell, beloved husband of Ginette Farrell went home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2010 surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He had a love of fishing and boating that he shared with all of his friends and family as well as anyone who was willing to listen to his fish tales. Jim had a zest for life that especially showed during his lengthy battle with cancer.
Jim was born in Manhattan New York and was the son of that late Frank and Dorothy Farrell. Jim is survived by his wife of 18 years ginette Farrell, Brother Frank Farrell of New York, and his sister Barbara Griffith of Ohio. Jim is survived by his children Jay Farrell, Kenny Farrell and Renee and Mark Sweatband all of Ohio, Frank and Holly Kulikowski, Kelly Kulikowski and Anna Kulikowski all of Maryland. Jim was the proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by one son Timothy Kulikowski.
Jim will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his canine companion, Cabo. Jim and Cabo shared many walks and rides on the boat as well as many seafood dinners.
Thank you to our friends, family and neighbors who have supported all of us through this extremely difficult time. Also, thanks to Hospice of Washington County for compassionate nurses and staff members who allowed us to make the last months of Jims's life on this earth as comfortable as possible. You allowed us to make this difficult situation a peaceful one; you were all truly a blessing.
A special thank you to Jim's daughter, Holly Kulikowski who stayed by Jim's side during his last days and provided him with constant love, care and compassion. You were truly a special person in Jim's life as well as his favorite nurse.
A Christian Celebration of Jims's life will be held at a later date at St. James Catholic Church in Boonsboro, Maryland.
