Mr. James David Brown, 72 of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013 at his home. He was the husband of Ruth Brown, his wife of 45 years.
Born May 26, 1941 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late James and Stella Brown.
James served in the United States Army from 1964-1966. He was a cabinet maker and loved wood working. He also enjoyed cooking.
James was a member of the American Legion Post 282 in Frederick, the Masons Lodge 255 in Shamokin, PA and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon 132 in Frederick, MD.
In addition to his wife Ruth he is survived by his two children, Michael A. Brown and wife Susan of Ashburn, VA and Heather A. Lindsay and husband James of Frederick, three grandchildren, Audrey Lindsay, Genna Brown and Lucas Brown, two sisters Clara Klemm and Mary Zalar. He will also be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, July 6th from 2-4 and 7-9PM.
