James Alexander Brammah

James Brammah, 37, of New York, NY, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, in New York City.

Born on June 7, 1985, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of James L. Brammah and Claudette O. Brammah.

James graduated from Frederick High School as valedictorian in June 2003,  from Howard University as magna cum laude in May 2007,  and Cornell University May 2020.

James worked for Goldman Sachs and UBS Bank.

James was baptized as one of Jehovah’s witnesses Aug. 1998.

He is survived by his mother, Claudette O. Brammah, father, James L. Brammah, brother, Troy Brammah, sisters Cynthia Brammah and Krissten Wood, nieces, Shianne Brown, Kaylee Wood, nephews Teagon Brammah and Tishaun Burkhart.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, Frederick, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.

A celebration of James's life journey will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the funeral home. Timothy Moser will officiate.  Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, 680 East Church Street (Gas House Pike), Frederick, MD.
