James Bouey

Mr. James “Jim” F. Bouey, 59, of Emmitsurg, MD, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 at his home. He was the husband of Alba Alaimo Bouey, his wife of 31 years.
Born August 16, 1951 in Gettysburg, PA., he was the son of the late James A. and Mary Sanders Bouey.
Jim was a lifelong resident of Emmitsburg where he attended St. Joseph’s High School and was a graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s College. He was a warehouse supervisor serving in the Frederick Community for 35+ years. Jim loved spending time with his wife , and enjoyed traveling, reading and eating.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Melissa Hess Auldridge and husband Michael of Shephardstown, WV and Steve Hess, Jr. and wife Rachael of Lewistown, four grandchildren Samantha, Bailey, Blaine and Tristan Hess, a sister Nancy Topper of Emmitsburg, nieces and nephews Tammy Topper, Sharon Howard, Billy Topper and Clint Sparkman. He is also survived by several aunts.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont on Tuesday, July 26, from 6 -8 p.m., where a service will be held Wednesday, July 27, at 11:30 am with Father Steve Trzeciefi officiating.
Interment Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery.
