James Bendel

James A. Bendel, 75, of Frederick, MD, died Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Kline Hospice House in Mt. Airy, MD.
Born February 21, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Eleanor (Young) Bendel.
Now retired, Mr. Bendel, for 30 years, was employed with the Marriott Corporation.
He is survived by his son, Jim (Kelly) Bendel of Columbia, MD and daughter, Mary Beth (Chris) Coffman of Urbana, MD; grandchildren, Jane Bendel, Kate Bendel, Morgan Guerrero and Mackenzie Guerrero; step grandchildren, Acadia Coffman and Delaney Coffman; brother, Joseph Bendel of Vestale, New York and sister, JoAnn Burrows of Marlton, New Jersey.
Jim was preceded in death by daughter, Theresa Bendel; and sister, Eleanor Helbok.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2016 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.
Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 27th at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Morton, PA with inurnment to follow in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
