Jacqueline Garlock

Mrs. Jacqueline M. Garlock, 80 of Frederick, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at her residence.
Born on May 24, 1935 in Oakland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Carson Bruce and Pearl Virginia Hershman Groves. Jackie was a graduate of Southern High School then moved to Washington, DC to work for the federal government first with the Treasury Dept and later with the FBI. From there she spent the rest of her career in the private sector of land development & private construction. Jackie loved spending time with her family & friends, loved art, flowers, history & politics . She will be missed by all that knew her.
Surviving are a son Douglas B. Garlock and wife Maureen of New Market; two grandchildren: Dylan and Raylee Garlock; and a sister, Delores "Dodie" Burrell.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 PM on Saturday. February 6, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
Interment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick at a later date.
