Jack Eugene Jackson,58,of Mt. Airy, passed away on pril 3, 2009 at Lorien of Mt. Airy.
He was the husband for 37 years to Mary Victoria (Vickie) Hershman Jackson.
Born on April 3, 1951 in Oakland, MD, he was the son of the late Jean Viola (Wolfe) and Guy Thacker Jackson. Jack was retired from the National Institute of Health (NIH) in 1999 where he served as a contracting officer.
Survivors beside his wife include his two children, Rachel Kardos and husband David of Sykesville, MD and Brett Jackson of New Market; three brothers, Bob Jackson and wife Susie of Florida, Clyde Reneman and wife Patty of Derwood, MD, and Keith Jackson and wife Dale of Ellicott City, MD; a sister, Susie Brand and husband Doug of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; one aunt and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville, Blvd, Mt. Airy.
Services: Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 6, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. officiating. Burial will be private.
