Jack Andrew Pinion

Mr. Jack Andrew Pinion, 95 of Emmitsburg, MD (formerly of Bethesda) died Thursday, January 22, 2009 at St. Catherine's Nursing Home, in Emmitsburg. He was the husband of the late Eleanor Whitacre Pinion.
Born January 27, 1913 in Wynot, NE he was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Paul Pinion.
Mr. Pinion was a graduate of North Park College (University) in Chicago, and the University of Nebraska. He served his country in the U. S. Navy. Mr. Pionion retired after 47 years as a financial analyst from F.D.I.C. Jack was a member of the V.F.W. Post #15021, a life member of Sailors and Airman Asso, Inc., the American Legion Post #0297 and The U. S. Navy Memorial.
He is survived by four sons Jack Paul Pinion of Princes Anne, MD, Richard Lewis Pinion and wife Sheila of Potomac, David James Pinion of Seattle, WA and Daniel George Pinion of Sabillasville, MD, one granddaughter and three great grandchildren, a sister Pauline Stark of Baltimore and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Dwight J. Pinion.
