Jack Printz

Jack Arnold Gochenour Printz, age 72, of Mt. Airy, MD, passed away
on September 24, 2012, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick, MD.

He was born December 30, 1939 in Luray, VA the son
of Charles Henry and Ollie Virginia Runyon Gochenour.
He was adopted as a young child by Ray and Margaret
Gochenour Printz. Jack retired from Shell Oil Company in 1996 and
had held various part time jobs in Mt. Airy since then.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judith Gordon Printz
of Mt. Airy, MD: four children, Jack A. Printz, Jr. of Luray, VA,
Michael Printz of Frederick, MD, Cheryl Digman of Charles
Town, WV and Scott Printz of Mt. Airy, MD. He is also survived
by his adopted mother, Margaret Gochenour Printz
Selman of Luray, VA and two sisters, Doris Gochenour
Himes of Frederick, MD and Louise Printz Painter of Luray,
VA: He is also survived by five grandchildren: Amanda and
Jeremy Printz of Luray, VA, Justine Printz of Hagerstown,
MD and Eddie and Jessica Digman of Sykesville, MD. Two
great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn Painter and Hannah Printz of
Luray, Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his adoptive
father and 3 brothers, Richard and Charles Gochenour of
Frederick, MD and Paul Gochenour of Luray, VA.
There will be a memorial service at Stauffers Funeral
Home Mt. Airy, MD on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012
from 6:30 to 8 PM with 7 PM set aside for a time of
remembrance.

Family night will be at Bradley Funeral Home,
Luray, VA on Thursday, Sept. 27 from 7-8.
A graveside service will be held at Beahm’s Chapel
Cemetery in Luray, VA. Friday, Sept. 28.
