Jack R. Phenicie, Jr., 55, died Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD.
Born June 23, 1959 in Cheverly, MD, he was the son of Donalda L. Phenicie of Woodstock, VA, and the late Jack R. Phenicie, Sr.
Jack graduated from Paint Branch High School in 1977. He loved his country and chose to serve in the Army Reserve. Jack worked many years as a heavy equipment operator. He will always be remembered for his quick wit and great sense of humor.
In addition to his mother, Jack is survived by two brothers, Thomas D. Phenicie of Woodstock, VA, and Theodore R. Phenicie of Salisbury, PA; and two sisters, Loretta L. Wilkerson of Fruitland, MD and Gloria J. Johnson of Clarksville, MD.
He will be remembered by his beloved girlfriend, Susie McKenzie of Frederick.
A Memorial Service will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, from Grace Baptist Church, 1255 Hoover Road, Woodstock, VA 22664.
Interment will be private in The Highland Cemetery located in Garrett, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Jack's name to a local Kidney Foundation.
