Iva Jean Heltibridle
August 17, 1926 — February 1, 2009
Iva Jean Reeder Heltibridle, age 82, a resident of Ravenwood Lutheran Village in Hagerstown, and formerly of Sharpsburg, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, at the home.
Born Aug. 17, 1926 in Park Hall, MD, she was a daughter of the late William Clarence and Iola Gertrude Poffenberger Reeder.
She had formerly been employed at Melart's Jewelers in Hagerstown.
She was a member of St. James Brethren Church.
She is survived by one son, Jon W. Heltibridle of Boonsboro.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Alice M. Jones, Betty L. Reeder, Gladys Phillips and Lenore Lum, and two brothers, Ralph Reeder and Nevin Reeder.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home in Boonsboro. The Revs. Brian H. Moore and Blaine E. Feightner will officiate. Burial will be in the Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
