Isla Mae Jarman

Isla Mae "Illie" Jarman passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024 in Hagerstown, MD at the age of 6 months.

Isla Mae was born on Monday, June 19, 2023.  From that day, she brought a ray of sunshine to everyone who was blessed to be around her.  She had a way of demanding your attention with her beautiful eyes and round rosy cheeks.  She loved floor time play with her big brother and hearing him sing his ABC's and "Wheels on the Bus" to her.  Isla Mae especially loved her quiet snuggle time with her Momma and Daddy.  The impact that she left on all lives and hearts in the short time we had her will never be forgotten.

Isla Mae is survived by her father and mother, Todd and Lauren Jarman of Boonsboro, MD; a brother, Luke Michael Jarman, at home; paternal grandparents, Todd and Lauren Jarman of Boonsboro; maternal grandparents, Darin and Tracy Longerbeam of Boonsboro; paternal great-grandparents Patricia Whelan of Urbana, MD and Kenneth and Darlene Jarman; maternal great-grandparents, Larry and Linda Burker of Sharpsburg; Aunts: Alexis Jarman, Elizabeth Burriss, Erin Longerbeam and Lindsy Longerbeam, Special Cousins, Alaina Jarman and Rhonda Burris.  She is also survived by many aunts and uncles and extended family.

Isla Mae is preceded in death by her paternal great-grandfather, Andrew Whelan and Maternal great-grandmother, Beverly Longerbeam.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 19 from 2 to 3 PM at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro.  A brief service will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
