Isabell R. lowe

Mrs. Isabell R. Lowe, 81, of Mt. Airy, died on Thursday, May 22, 2008, at St. Joseph Medical Center, Towson. She was the wife of the late Archie C. Lowe, Sr, who died in 2001.

Born on April 30, 1927, in Strasbueg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Lola Ritenour Stover. She was a homemaker and nothing was more important to her than being with her family.

Surviving are 6 children: Rose Ann Smith and husband Jerry, Archie Lowe, Jr and wife Nancy, Alvie Lowe and wife Patricia, Ronald Lowe and wife Diane all of Mt. Airy, Michael Lowe and wife Sherry and Dale Lowe and wife Alice all of Smithsburg; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Flossie Fox of Edinburg, VA and Hadty Henderlight of White Marsh. Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by 2 brothers: John Stover and Sonny Stover and 3 sisters: Buela Osborne, Rose Maria Grimm and Charlotte Creager.

Services: A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, May 29, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy with Rev. Janet Naill officiating.

Interment will be private.
