Isabelle Virginia Jane Baker, 80, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown.
Born on February 15, 1933, in Washington County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Emma (Summers) Baker. Her companion of 40 years, John H. Hines, Jr., preceded her in death in 2002.
Isabelle was a member of the Benevola United Methodist Church in Boonsboro.
She is survived by her son, John H. Hines, III of Hagerstown; two brothers, Daniel and Otho Baker of Boonsboro; two grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Benevola United Methodist Church, 19925 Benevola Church Road in Boonsboro. Rev. John H. Dean will officiate. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
