Isabel Smith

Isabel Smith, 60, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away peacefully from this life surrounded by her family and friends on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, MD.  She was the beloved wife of the late Melvin Smith Sr.
 
Born on March 7, 1963, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Harris Sr and Agnes Jean (Snowden) Harris.
 
Isabel Graduated from Thomas Johnson Highschool in Frederick, MD

Hobbies: She loved to shop & dress to impress.  Spending time with her kids, grandchildren, friends, and family.  She loved to eat and being the life of the party. 
 
She is survived by her son Melvin Smith Jr.  Daughters Kea Warfield and Partner Darnell Mason and Ashley Harris and Fiancé Tyquan Haywood Sr.  and Kizzy Diggs. Grandson's Mekhai Smith, Keyon Worrell, Kah'ron Harris, Juh'lon Mason, Tyquan Haywood Jr and Kavon Haywood. Granddaughter’s Jada Smith, Dayonna Worrell, Ja’Myrah Greene and Milani Bella Haywood.  Great Granddaughter Jamilah Sampson.  

Sisters Rosa Snowden and partner Eugene and Gail Hebron.  Brothers Kevin Harris and wife Lisa, Jerry Harris, David Harris Sr, James Harris and wife Leda, Jeffrey Harris and partner Jennifer Siske and Welmon Nash.  Brother-in-law Larry Miller, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Devoted Nephews John B Boyce Jr, David Harris Jr and Lavonte Nash and Devoted Niece’s Samantha Harris, Artaz Pickett and Shawnta Bowie. 
 
Devoted friends Debbie Disney, Natalie Lee, Wendy Naylor Shipe, Lori Weedon, Dorothea Milton, Dina Naylor, Kim Onley, Joyce Warfield, Mary Lumpkin and Erica Randolph,  Earlene Smallwood.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Louise Harris, Linda Snowden and Elsie Miller.  Brother Daniel Harris Jr.  Brother-in-law Melvin Hebron.  Sister-in-law Tina Harris.
 
The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Jackson Chapel UMC, 5609 Ballenger Creek Pike in Frederick, MD, where a celebration of Isabel's life journey will take place at 11am. Pastor Rex R. Bowens, Sr. will officiate.  Interment will be in Bartonsville Community Cemetary, Bartonsville, MD.
