Mr, Irving C. Sheeler, 83 of Sabillasville died on January 11, 2013 at University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore. He was the beloved husband of Delores A. Sheeler for 62 years.
Born on July 6, 1929 in Baltimore County he was the son of the late George and Evelyn Rogers Sheeler.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters, Debbie Barker and husband Frank and Pam Harris and husband Kenneth. Grandchildren Matthew Barker and wife Briana, Joshua Harris and wife Lindsey, Emily Higham and husband Joel and Timothy Harris.
Visitation will be held on Monday January 14, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street, Thurmont where funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday January 15, 2013. Reverend Susan M. Beck will officiate. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Johns Lutheran Church, 15 N. Church Street, Thurmont, MD 21788 or to the Arthritis Foundation, 9505 Reisterstown Road Owings Mills, MD 21117.
