Irene Forrest

Irene Corrine Draper Forrest, age 84, of 8507 Mapleville Road, Boonsboro, and formerly of Mt. Lena, MD, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Fahrney-Keedy Home near Boonsboro.
Born Jan. 27, 1925 in Mt. Lena, she was a daughter of the late Ora and Florence Mae Flockler Draper.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Roosevelt Draper, in 1959.
She had formerly worked at The Spot Restaurant in Mt. Lena.
She attended Community Mennonite Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Julia A. Churchey of Sharpsburg, Sandra K. Biser of Hagerstown and Lori A. Bowers of Yarrowsburg, MD; three sons, Larry L. Forrest, Ronald L. Forrest and Mark A. Rudy, all of Hagerstown; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Doris J. Forrest; one son, Harold E. Forrest; and one twin sister, Corrine I. Dill.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home in Boonsboro. Pastor Paul Clemmer will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Lena Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
