Ina Lee Stroupe, known to many as 'Frosty' of Knoxville, Maryland died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born January 19, 1942 in Knott County, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Homer and Stella Bolen.
She was the wife of the late Billy Gene Stroupe, her husband of 46 years.
Ina retired from Frederick Memorial Hospital where she worked for 23 years in the emergency room.
She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, the Brunswick American Legion and Eagles.
Ina is survived by her two brothers, Bill Bolen and wife Jesse of Summerfield, FL and Jack Bolen and wife Vicki of Knoxville, MD, one sister, Jane Ramey of Frederick, two nephews, Jim Bolen and wife Lisa of Sabattus, ME and Brian Bolen and wife Karen of Jefferson, two nieces, Debbie Bolen-Morin and husband Gerry of Turner, ME and Leslie Gum and husband Jason of Brunswick, one beloved great niece, Lauren Bolen of Jefferson and a brother-in-law, Dave Hirt and wife Emi of Frederick.
She was preceded in death by a sister Mollie Hirt.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick on Wednesday, May 14 from 6:00-9:00 PM.
Services:
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 15 at 10:30 AM with the Rev. Frank E. Fortkamp officiating.
Interment will be in Lovettsville Union Cemetery, Lovettsville, VA.
