Huldah Gosnell

February 28, 1914 — October 31, 2008

Huldah C. Easton Gosnell, 94, of Ravenwood Lutheran Village, Hagerstown and formerly of Trego, Md. died Friday, October 31, 2008 at Washington County Hospital.


Born February 28, 1914 in Rohrersville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Harry G. and Ada M. Clopper Easton.


She was a homemaker.


She was a member of Central United Brethren Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher and member of the choir.


She is survived by her husband, W. Lee Gosnell, whom she married February 18, 1937; one daughter, S. Ann Metcalf and husband, Ret. Col. Frank (Bud) of Hopkinsville, Ky.; one grandson, Michael L. Metcalf of Aurora, Co.; and several nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by one sister, Gladys Easton; and two brothers, Arthur Easton and Leon Easton.


Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, November 3 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home in Boonsboro.  The Rev. Victor H. Moon will officiate.  Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Rohrersville.


The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
