Mr. Howard E. Cline, 61, of Jefferson died on Thursday March 25, 2010 at his home.
He was the husband of Debbie Cline.
Born on December 19, 1948 in Washington County he was the son of the late Clarence W. and Dorothy King Cline.
He was a 1967 graduate of Middletown High School. He served in the Army National Guard. He was a member of AMVETS Post 2 where he had been Past Commander and was a member of the American Legion Post II where he had been Past Adjutant.
He was a retired security supervisor at Wackenhut at CITI and before that had worked for MAMSI, RUS, and Genstar.
Surviving are two children; Dan Cline and his wife Melissa of Middletown and Gwen Masser and her husband Wade of Myersville. Grandchildren Travis, Bradley and Rachel Cline and Gavin Masser. Three brothers George, Charlie and Elmer Cline. Two sisters Betty Martin and Barb Rutherford.
Visitation: Visitation will be held on Saturday March 27, from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, with an American Legion Ceremony beginning at 3:00pm.
Services: Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday March 29 in the Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend David Howell will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion United Methodist Cemetery, Myersville.
