Howard Pridham, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on March 8, 2025, in Frederick, Maryland. He was born on April 3, 1953, in Washington DC.
In his professional journey, Howard excelled as a Master Scheduler and Planner at Thales Defense & Security Inc. He also contributed his talents as a Stockroom Supervisor and Planner at Watkins Johnson/BAE Systems/DRS, and he held the position of Manager at Del Taco. His work ethic and commitment were admired by many who had the privilege to work alongside him.
Howard graduated from Albert Einstein High School in the class of 1971, where he laid the foundation for a life filled with learning and growth. He had a variety of interests that brought him joy, including listening to the music of Lucy Thomas, watching landscaping videos online, and sharing his home with his cherished cats.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Joyce Pridham; his sons, Chad Shoemaker, Donald Lawhorne (Mary), Gregory Pridham (Autumn), and Jason Shoemaker; and his grandchildren, Charlotte Renee Arrignton, Chellsie Olivia Shoemaker, and Kylie Jordan Lawhorne. Howard was also a proud great-grandfather to Esther Renee Arrington. He is further survived by his nieces, Brandi Mister and Tina Freeman; his nephew, Steven Buckner; and his brother-in-law, Richard Buckner.
Howard was preceded in death by his father, William Starke Pridham; his mother, Margaret Elise (Simons) Pridham; and his sister, Bonnie Buckner (Pridham).
A graveside service will be held on March 28, 2025, at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, Maryland, starting at 11:00 AM. Howard’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him and loved him.
