Hilda Catherine Eyler

Thurmont
Born on August 24, 1933, in Catoctin Furnace, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Iona (Stackhouse) Anders. She was the wife of the late Roland Ammon Eyler. They were married June 6, 1953, until he passed away in June of 2008.
Hilda graduated from Thurmont High School in 1950. She retired from Air Pax in Frederick after 45 years of employment.
She was a life member Catoctin United Methodist Church. Hilda enjoyed spending time with her extensive family and dedicating her time to God.
Hilda will be missed by her friends and numerous nieces and nephews including her special niece, Angela Bullis and her children, Shya and Kayden, all of Thurmont; as well as her sister-in-law Christine Anders also of Thurmont.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Franklin, Edward, Donald, Melvin and Robert.
The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM on Friday, May 31, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street in Thurmont where funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Tim May officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Thurmont.
