Herbert E.Mullican Jr., 59, of Frederick, passed away on June 3, 2013 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital with his loving wife Barbara A. Mullican at his side.
He was born on September 9, 1953 in Frederick he was the son of Shirley Wilcox Mullican of Frederick and the late Herbert E. Mullican Sr.
He served in the U. S. Air Force from 1973 to 1977 as K-9 Security Police and later in the Air Guard from 1981-1984. He went on to provide and exchange knowledge and support with K-9 Detection Specialist’s worldwide.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Matthew E.Mullican of Frederick. Sister in Law Cathy Wade of Arbutus and Dear Friends Robert, Mary, Sarah, Jacob and Madisen Flaugher.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Saturday June 8, 2013 at the Stauffer Funeral Home P.A. 1621 Opossumtown Pike,Frederick. Services and interment will be private.
In Lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to www.save-a-vet.org in memory of Herberts love of K-9 Military and Law Enforcement working service dogs.
