Henry Culler Jr.

Mr. Henry H. “ Bubby” Culler Jr., 66, of Rosemont, died on Saturday September 25, at Kline Hospice House, Mt. Airy. He was the Loving partner in life of Mary Catherine Axline of Rosemont.

Born on May 22, 1944 in Frederick he was the son of the late Henry H. Sr., and Dorothy Moore Culler.
Henry served in the Maryland National Guard 29 th division from 1963-69. He was a Graduate of Frederick High School. He was a member of the Lions Club were he also coached little league and also a member of the Catoctin Mountain Street Rods.  He was an auto body painter and had worked at the Frederick Ford Motor Company in Frederick as well as Flicks Auto Body in Lisbon. Henry was most recently employed at Frederick County Public Schools with the Food Service division.
“Bubby” was an avid drag racer with his 1940’s Willys “Shark” Truck (aka Baby). He also loved fishing with Richard Rudy and friends on the Potomac River, golfing in the “Family Masters Tournament”, hunting Easter Eggs with his grandchildren, and vacationing in Ocean City, MD. He also was a Redskins and New York Yankees fan, and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving are two children; Michelle Renee Love and husband Jason of Union Bridge and Henry “Trey “ Culler III of Fairfax, VA., two grandchildren; Dylan Marshall Love and Maggie Mae Spielman. Three sisters; Dottie Ann Schick and husband Robert of Virginia Beach, Janet L. Rudy and husband Richard of Middletown and Sheri L. Harrington and husband Joseph of Brunswick,  Two aunts; Shirley Cannon and Connie Moore. Henry is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday October 2, 2010 at the Brookhill United Methodist Church, 8946 Indian Springs Rd, Frederick, MD 21702. Following the Memorial Service Henry’s life will be celebrated at the Yellow Springs Lions Club from 12:00pm to 4:30pm.
Interment will be private.
