Henrietta June Eyler

Mrs. Henrietta June Eyler, 71, of Thurmont died Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Leon Allen Eyler who died September 16, 1989.

Born on August 8, 1935 in Waynesboro, PA she was the daughter of the late Helen Wade Crilley and Clyde Crilley, Sr. June married her husband Leon on August 17, 1957. A homemaker, she was also employed at one time at both Moore Business Forms and Claire Frock both located in Thurmont.

A member of Weller United Methodist Church, she also had membership at both the Waynesboro Moose Lodge Chapter 1136 and the Thurmont American Legion Post 168.

Survivors include her five sons all from Thurmont; Gregory L. Eyler and wife Brenda, Terry A. Eyler and wife Christine, Rick L. Eyler and wife Diane, Kevin W. Eyler and wife Jennifer, and Brett E. Eyler, his companion Sharon Herbert of Olney, MD; her loving grandchildren, Jeffrey L. Eyler, Meaghan L. Eyler, Taryn J. Eyler, Treye J. Eyler, Erin Thomas, Scott Sweeney, Lacey Eyler, Kara Eyler, Madisen Eyler, Mackenzie Eyler and Morgan Eyler; her sisters, Evelyn Burgan, Nellie Stitley and Anna Mae Ray; her brother, William Crilley. She will also be remembered by her special friend Daphne Yingling. June was also preceded in death by her sisters, Cora Crilley and Pauline Creager and brothers, Robert Crilley and Clyde Crilley, Jr.

Visitation: The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, MD.

Services: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Weller United Methodist Church, 101 N. Altamont Ave., Thurmont, MD with Rev. Richard Broome officiating. Burial will be private.

The family request that memorials be made to the charity of one's choice in Mrs. Eyler's name.
