Helen Marie Turner, 83, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at the Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, MD.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Susan Mill’s Barnhart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buster B. Turner, Sr., daughter, Joetta L. Turner and sister Louise Waters.
Helen was a homemaker for several years and worked on the family farm as well as raised a wonderful family.
She is survived by a daughter Virginia L. Crawford of Chambersburg, Pa; 2 sons, Buster B. Turner, Jr., of Falling Waters, WV and Clarence L. Turner, of Leitersburg, MD; 1 brother, Howard E. Barnhart of Greencastle, PA; 1 sister, Bernice Clever, of TN; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713.
Family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
