Helen M. Kelly

Mrs. Helen M. Kelly, 78, of Frederick died on Saturday July 5, 2008 at Northampton Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Kelly.

Born in Norristown, Pennsylvania on February 13, 1930 she was the daughter of the late William and Helen Burns Otley.

Mrs. Kelly was a beloved wife and mother, she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Knoxville where she used to teach CCD. Because of her loving spirit you were drawn to her. She treated everyone around her as though they were a part of her own family.

Surviving are eight children Steve Kelly and wife Lizbeth of Clarksburg, Clare Lawson and husband Bill of Frederick, Mark Kelly and wife Dee of Hyattsville, Mike Kelly and wife Lucia of Hyattsville, Anne Backover and husband Bobby of Brunswick, Paul Kelly and wife Annie of Poolesville, Mary Launi and husband Joe of Leesburg, VA and Patty Zhang and husband Qi of Canada. Grandmother of 19 and Great Grandmother of 7. Brother James Otley of NC and sister Mary McDonald of Detroit, MI. Mrs. Kelly was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Visitation: Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday July 8, from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Avenue, Brunswick.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 9, at 11:00am at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Catholic Church Road, Knoxville. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
