Helen Joy Young

Mrs. Helen Joy Young, 83, was called to rest on May 21, 2009. She was born December 23, 1925 to the late Sarah Edna and Ray Von Anderson Sr. of Lovettsville, VA.

She is survived by one daughter, Rose M. Nickens and husband Charles of Hampton VA., sons David M. Young of Frederick and George E. Young Jr and wife Claudia of Kearneysville WV., Four grandchildren Stacey R. Stokes, Charles M. Nickens Jr, Sharon Nickens and Amanda Parker. Two great grandchildren Jordan A Riddick and Lauren C. Nickens. One sister Delores ( Jackie) Williams and husband Melvin of Frederick, A brother Ralph ( Pat) Anderson of Heidelburg, Germany. Two brothers in law George Nailor and James Hardy.

She will be greatly missed by many friends and family.

She was preceded in death by husband George E. Young Sr., Five brothers Kenneth, Ray Von, David, Thomas and Herbert Anderson, four sisters Pearl Henry, Jane Brown, Shirley Nailor and Sandy Hardy.

Visitation: Viewing will be Wednesday, May 27, from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, the family will be present to receive friends from 7-9pm.

Services: Funeral Services will be Thursday May 28, at 11:00am in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
