Helen {Elizabeth} Keilholtz

Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Keilholtz, 81 of Thurmont, MD., died Thursday, August 30, 2007, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.

She was the wife of the late William L. Keilholtz, Sr. her husband of 53 years.

Born July 15, 1926 in Utica, MD she was the daughter of the late George Norman and Helen I. Joy Stevens.

Mrs. Keilholtz was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. She was a member of the Thurmont Grange and the Catoctin F.F.A.Alumni Assoc. She was very active in the family business, Keilholtz Trucking Service. Elizabeth enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners, spending time with her family and watching the Baltimore Orioles.

She is survived by six children William L. Keilholtz, Jr. and wife Sue of Thurmont, Patricia J. Kerns and husband Chester, Jr. of Rocky Ridge, Brenda L. Seiss and husband Dave, Donald E. Keilholtz and friend Phyllis Fritz all of Thurmont, Mary E. Rice and husband Jim and Becky Clarke and husband Tim all of Rocky Ridge, seven grandchildren Laura E. Keilholtz, Chad E. Hahn and wife Nikki, Bradley W. Seiss, Katie M. Seiss, Jessica E. Clarke, Taylor A. Clarke and Corey W. Rice, Sisters and brothers Louise Mullinix, Edward Stevens, James Stevens, Patricia Baust, Catherine VanSant, Virginia Stine, Rosie Ecker and Helen Young. Many nieces, nephews and special neighbors Beulah Zentz and Frances Angleberger also survive.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Tiffany N. Hahn and her brothers George and Robert Stevens.

Visitation: The family will receive at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, MD on Monday September 3, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9:00 p.m. where a Rosary will be said at 8:00 p.m.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 4, at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, N. Church Street, Thurmont, MD with Father Leo R. Tittler as celebrant.
Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick where serving as pallbearers will be Robert Barnes, Bobby Keilholtz, Wendell Zentz, Troy Baust, Chad Hahn, and Bradley Seiss and honorary pallbearer will be Corey Rice.
