Helen Tate

Helen Tate, 94, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Doey House in Hagerstown, Maryland. She was the beloved wife of the late William Marvin Tate.
Born on February 17, 1926, in Hogansville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late J.M Mims and Mildred Cochran Mims.
She is survived by her children, Robert Tate and wife Olinda and Alan Tate and wife Karen; grandchildren, Amber Tate, Sean Tate, Jillian Tate, Kimmy Consiglio and husband Rob, and Chris Tate and girlfriend Shannon Bishop; great-grandchildren, Danika Dunn, Keely Dunn, Mylo Pudda and Natalie Consiglio.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Brunswick), 1100 North Maple Avenue in Brunswick, Maryland where a celebration of Helen's life journey will take place at 2:00 pm. Rev. Tim Shatzer will officiate.
Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers in her name to the Hospice of Washington County.
