Helen Book Klein, of Buckingham’s Choice, Adamstown, MD, formerly of Malvern, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. She was 78 years old.
An award-winning quilter and past member of the Penn Oaks Quilt Guild, Helen was also a gifted seamstress, having worked for many years with Joel’s dress shop and The Wedding Touch in Chester County, PA.
Born in Chester County on April 17, 1936, Helen was the daughter of the late Emma Clark Book and Ebert Book. Predeceased by her husband John Klein and grandson Stephen Rane, she is survived by daughters Karen Rane and husband Jerry Brust, Vicki Clark and husband Todd Clark, son Brian Klein and wife Susan Klein, and granddaughters Sarah Klein and Alison Rane.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 28, at Mauger Givnish Funeral Home, 24 Monument Avenue, Malvern, PA, at 11 AM. A private burial will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Helen’s name may be made to Buckingham’s Choice Employee Appreciation Fund, 3200 Baker Circle, Adamstown, MD 21710, or a charity of one’s choice.
Local arrangements are by Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick.
