Helen Glazewski

Helen Emily Glazewski passed from this earth and joined her beloved husband, Wally, in heaven on February 14, 2011.  Helen was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 16, 1921, and she and Wally married in 1942.  They remained in Chicago during the early years of their marriage and had two children -- Karen and Kevin -- before moving to Arizona in 1957, where their third child, Tim, was born. Helen and Wally enjoyed many good times, good friends and good memories in Arizona as members of the Pulaski Club.  They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary there in 1992. Helen moved to Frederick, Maryland in 1994 after Wally passed away. Helen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Jose Cuzme of Arizona, and her sons and their wives, Kevin and Sue Glazewski of Minnesota, and Tim and Bonnie Glazewski of Virginia. She also leaves behind her brother and his wife, Hank and Joanne Kitlarz, and sister, Jean Jones, all of Illinois, as well as ten grandchildren: Alan, Ryan, Chris and Jessica Cuzme; John, Kyle, Katie, and Andrew Glazewski; and Christopher and Nicholas Glazewski.  There will be a mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am on Friday February 18, 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 118 East Second Street, Frederick, MD. She will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery next to her husband. Her family will always cherish the memories of her love and devotion, and the inspiration she instilled in them.
