Helen Fogle

Helen Mildred Fogle, 84, of Walkersville, Maryland, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD.

Born on September 27, 1932, in Old Braddock, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William Howard Angleberger and Helen Tobery Angleberger.

Helen was very devoted to her family and friends. She had a heart of gold and would give the coat off her back to anyone needing it. She was a wonderful seamstress and worked for many years at the Woodsboro Sewing Factory, where she met her husband. After retirement, she worked at Georges/Trouts Food Market in Woodsboro. She loved making crafts including card making & often gave her loved ones gifts she made from the heart. She was a master of jigsaw puzzles and Sudoku. She was a longtime fan of the Green Bay Packers and more recently of the Atlanta Falcons. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr. She always enjoyed watching a good game of tennis as well as game and quiz shows.  She will be missed by all.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Walter  R. Fogle, Jr., who passed away in 2006, brothers, Albert, Charles, Melvin, Emory, George, John, and Carl Angleberger; sisters, Mary O’Bryan, Pauline Lapole, Peggy Mooreman, and Catherine Martin

She is survived by her son, Rick Fogle and his wife, Debbie of Walkersville; daughter, Melea Fogle-Baker and husband, Lee of Harpers Ferry, WV; sisters, Hilda Harbaugh of Frederick and Margaret Brandenburg & husband, Wayne & family of Middletown; sister in law's, Margaret Angleberger of Walkersville and Flo Angleberger of Thurmont; granddaughter, Laura Rippeon. She is also survived by special niece,  Barbara Haines and husband, Larry, children, Troy, Stacey, Deanna, and Allison of Walkersville; special great niece, Carly Grimes; nephew, Bradley Grimes and wife, Donna, children, Brooke Renner  & Emily Grimes; nephew, Larry Grimes & wife, Bev, & son, Todd; special adopted daughter, Belinda Utterback and husband, Steve and many other nieces & nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on 11:00am Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Avenue, Walkersville MD 21793. Burial will follow in the Glade Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home-Walkersville

Memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Fogles name to the Oak Hill Church of God, 10053 Oak Hill Road, Keymar MD 21757  .
