Helen Mae Everett, 92, of Frederick, MD passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Raymond Fredrick Everett, married July 26, 1947.

Born April 6, 1926 in Jacksonville, FL, raised and graduated from Coughlin High School in Wilkes-Barre, PA, daughter of the late William John and Ethel Jeanette (Levin) Matthes.

Helen was a former member of Daughters of the Nile, Ladies Oriental Shrine, Bou Tem Sci Club and The Red Hats, all in Baltimore; in her spare time she enjoyed dancing, bowling, traveling in their motor home, quilting, bingo and spending quality time with her family.

In addition to her husband she is survived by children, Michael Everett and wife, Janet, of Frederick; Lois Roney, of Frederick; and Raymond Everett and wife, Linda, of Woodbine; grandchildren, Rodney Everett, Jacqueline Berry, Michael Everett, Jennifer Hart, Brian Roney and Brittney Everett; great-grandchildren, Joshua Berry, Justin Berry, Jessica Berry, Kaleb Everett, Shane Everett, Aden Everett, Haley Everett and Andrew Hart.

She is also survived by her sister, Emma Lipfert of Wilkes-Barre, PA, beloved nephew Bradley Woode of Lexington Park, MD and many nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Illah May Everett on April 21, 1984; and siblings, Beatrice Davis, Florence Adams, Miriam Oliver, and Dorothy Rowker.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702 on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 1-3PM and 6-8PM where a brief funeral service will be held from 2:30PM-3PM and 7:30PM-8PM.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
