Helen Dutrow

Mrs. Helen C. Dutrow of Delaware Road, Frederick died on Sunday, July 4, at her home with her loving family at her side.

She was wife of the late Millard G. Dutrow who died on April 29, 1992. Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Charles R. Cline, Sr. and Lily K. Gladhill Cline.

Helen was a graduate of Frederick High School. After graduating, she began working at Frederick Brick Works where she was the office manager for more than 52 years. Upon her retirement, she worked part-time at Weis and Giant grocery stores. Mrs. Dutrow was a lifetime member of Christ Reformed United Church of Christ in Middletown.

Helen loved working in her yard, mowing and tending her flowers. She also enjoyed meeting her friends in the morning at McDonald’s. Surviving are a sister, Geneva Stunkel of Tuscarora; a brother, Charles R. Cline, Jr and wife Evelyn of New Market; sister-in-laws: Jane Cline and Louise Cline both of Frederick and Shirley Cline; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Dutrow was preceded in death by a brother: E. Lee Cline, Milo Cline, Wilbur L. Cline and his wife Ruth "Shorty" Cline; and a sister, Ruth K. Masser and her husband Roscoe H. Masser..

The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM on Wednesday, July 7, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick where services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 8, with pastor, Rev. Mark Wakefield officiating.

Interment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick The family requests donations be made in Mrs. Dutrow’s name to Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, 12 S. Church St., Middletown, MD 21769 or Hospice of Frederick County, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
