Mrs. Helen A. Clem passed away Saturday, Jan 30,2016 at Citizens Nursing home, where she had lived the past 2 years. Prior, she lived in Middletown for 40years, then the last several years in the Frederick area.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Clem.
Born Feb 19,1930 she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Annabelle Martin.
Mom enjoyed gardening, word search puzzles, and raising her 9 children. In earlier years she worked at Tastee Freez of Middletown. Helen was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Utica.
She is survived by her children Robert Clem Jr, James & Noveda Clem, Donald & Joyce Clem, Mary Jane and Bill Cook, Judith & David Parish, Joan Keffer, Sally Allison, David & Joy Clem, Patricia Clem (Donald Shook). She is survived by brothers Charles Martin, Glen &Sandy Martin. Also Ruth Martin, sister- in- law, her husband’s family Irene Sobers, Vernon Clem, Naomi & Ray Adkins Sr, Madeline & Don Harris, Shirley Adkins, Lorretta & Robert LaFoote, Peggy Clem, 13 grandchildren, and 32 great great grandchildern. She was preceded in death by family members: Grace & Clifford Marshall, Frank & Evelyn Martin, Ralph and Betty Martin, William Martin, Richard Martin, Mary Jane Martin, Catherine Martin, Hugh Clem, Robert Sobers, Margaret Clem, Lee Adkins Robert Keffer Sr., and Janet Clem and son-in-law Robert Allison.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Tuesday, February 2, from 11:00 am until service time at 2:00 pm with Rev. Albert K. Lane, III officiating.
