Hazel Wilcom

Hazel Louverna Wilcom of Adamstown, MD., passed from this life on March 6, 2019 surrounded by her family.
Hazel was born in Mt. Nebo, West Virginia on March 6, 1941. She was the beloved daughter of  the late Guy Vernon Conard and Violet Sebert Conard.
After completing high school she moved to Frederick, married and had children. She later worked as a nanny and for  Galaxy Conferences doing collation support. She was a long time Frederick resident. She loved family and friends and was known by many for her sweet nature and lovely smile.
Hazel is survived by her daughter, Anita Wilcom Moore and husband Patrick; grandchildren, Hunter and Sydney Moore; brothers, John, Leon and Scott Conard of Mt. Nebo, WV.; sisters, Edra McClung of Summersville, WV and Becky Bennett of Fenwick, WV.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Weber Wilcom; her son, Keith Wilcom; brothers, Bernard, Kyle, and Ottis Conard; sisters, Virginia Potter, Lilly "Doodie" Hughes, Jane Tinney and Beverly Sattler.
A private graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
