Mr. Harry Kenneth Frome, 82, of Mt. Airy died on Saturday, September 1, at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Mildred Eis Frome his wife of 59 years.
Born on January 7, 1925 in Baltimore he was the son of the late Archer Milton Sr. and Bertha Irene Zinck Frome. He was an general foreman of services and repairs with Baltimore Gas and Electric, retiring in 1987 after 40 years service. Mr. Frome served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. Harry was also a 1968 graduate of Johns Hopkins with a degree in engineering. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandsons.
He was also the devoted father of Deborah Trimble husband Stephen of Mt. Airy; loving grandfather of Stephen Kenneth Trimble and Mark Christopher Trimble and dear brother of Melvin Frome and wife Shirley of Baldwin.
Mr. Frome was preceded in death by a brother, A Milton Frome, Jr.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Wednesday, September 5, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd. Mt. Airy.
Services:
Services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 6, with Rev. Wallace Lusk officiating.
Interment will be in Loudon Park Cemetery, Baltimore.
