Harvey E. Clem, 61 of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, formerly of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Monday, August 20, 2007 at the Augusta Medical Center in Virginia. He was the husband of 34 years to Melanie J. Clem also of Stuart's Draft.
Born November 3, 1945 in Frederick, MD he was the son of the late Charles W. and Frances G. Clem.
He was known throughout the United States as one of the best cattle hoof trimmers and cattle showman. He has showed numerous champions throughout the U.S.
In addition to his wife, Melanie he is survived by a brother, William Clem and wife Pat; an uncle, Charles Yingling and wife Lula; a nephew, Charles H. Clem; nieces, Deborah Harle and Amanda Hawkins; in laws, James and Joan Tait; brother-in-law, David A. Tait and wife Annie; uncles, Walter Krantz, Alan J. Krantz and wife Shirley and numerous cousins.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, John Clem.

Services: A visitation and memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Frederick Road, Utica, Maryland.
