Mr. Harry Edward Orem, Jr., 86, of Frederick, MD passed away peacefully Friday, March 6, 2015 at Northampton Manor. He was the husband of the late Lydia Sylvia Orem.
Born April 28, 1928 in Frederick, MD to the late Harry Edward Orem, Sr. and Fannie Jordan Orem Carroll.
Harry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and also enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his son Harry E. Orem, III; granddaughter Stormy Leslie Orem and his sister Ann Hurd.
He is preceded in death by his sisters Frances E. Robinson, Dorothy "Dottie" Orem, Ruth "Newty" Brown and Edith "Bushie" Luckett; brother Clark "Bubbie" Orem and brother-in-law Herman Hurd.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 7-9PM. The Rev. Drew S. Smith will officiate for an entombment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens on Friday, March 13 at 11AM.
