Harry P. Krantz "Phil" 88 of Middletown, MD passed July 2, 2024 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Born June 10, 1936 he was the son of Harry T. "Babe" Krantz and Mary G. "Jean" Baker.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Shirley Cordell Krantz ; his daughter Lisa Krantz DiGioia, and husband Vincent; grandaughter, Alexandra Hesen and husband, Brian; grandson, SSgt Philip DiGioia, and wife Madison. Fur family; Boomer, Hank, Donny and Presley-Ann; brother Mark Krantz and wife Terry; sister, Pat Langowski; dear friends, Bob and Barbara Butler.  Phil was a true sportsman enjoying fishing, hunting and bird watching. He was a collector of Native American artifacts paying tribute to his heritage. He loved spending time with all his grandpups. Prior to his illness, he and Shirley enjoyed traveling and dining out regularly. Trips to Hawaii, Italy and Deep Creek Lake were favorites along with a good crab cake or steak dinner, oh and ice cream! He was always happiest in the company of his friends and family and never missed an opportunity to interject a funny, witty comment in conversation. Family and friends could always count on him sharing the best stories of years ago and proudly sharing pictures of his grandchildren.
