Harry Brodus, 71, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick.
Born on December 16, 1952, in Avon Park, Florida, he was the son of Magartha and was raised in Saginaw, Michigan, by his grandmother and grandfather, Lillie Mae and James.
He was a 1971 graduate of Carrollton High School. He proudly served 22 years in the United States Air Force, working as an aircraft mechanic. He retired as a Master Sergeant, then went on to work for Continental Airlines before retiring.
Harry loved the Lord with all his heart and was a dedicated member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. He is survived by his children Desirae and Bill (grandkids Kylie, Bradyn, Bryce, Jayce, and William), Derrick, Darren, and his wife Doris; Monique (grandson Jayden), Shana, Denise and Dawan (grandkids Roman and Laila), and his former wife Christine. He is also survived by two brothers, a sister, and many additional family members and friends.
A celebration of Harry’s life will take place at the Frederick Church of Christ (1305 N. Market Street, Frederick, Maryland 21701) on July 27, 2024, at 3:00 P.M., with a reception immediately following in the church’s reception hall.
The family expresses their sincere gratitude to everyone who prayed, called, sent text messages, letters, and cards, and visited Harry during his final days. Your love and kindness will always be remembered.

His strong faith in Jesus and unwavering commitment to helping others were central to his life. He would love nothing more than to see his legacy continue through the spread of God's word.
