Mr. Harold Lee "Bubba" Lambert, 64, of Frederick, MD passed away Monday, August 20, 2012 at Frederick Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

Born January 17, 1948 in Morgantown, WV he was the son of the late James M. and Bessie A. Purtee Lambert.

Bubba enjoyed going to church and United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) was a place that he called home.  He lived and spent his days surrounded by his UCP family.  Harold loved going on trips and experiencing new things.  Harold went to Disney World, California to meet Bob Barker, and saw his favorite team, the Ravens, at training camp.  He had a very contagious smile and loved hugs and kisses of all sorts.  He was very cautious around new people but once you became his friend..you knew it.  Harold loved the holidays especially Easter and Christmas as he would wait for the Easter Bunny and Santa to arrive.  A few of his favorite things were chocolate, Dolly Parton, Vanna White, wearing rings, shaking his maracas, singing, stuffed animals, coffee, Wheel of Fortune, Price is Right, Jeopardy, old sitcoms and his favorite song "Jesus loves me"  You could always find Harold with his radio in hand listening to his much loved country music.

He is survived by his sisters Linda Lewis and husband James of Finksburg, Lucinda Curfman of New Windsor and Ruth E. Lambert Lundy of Westminster; sister-in-law Barbara Lambert; his Aunt Mary Birch and Uncle Leroy Purtee; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother Glen R. Lambert and brother-in-law P. Wayne Curfman.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 2-4 PM where a funeral service will begin at 4 PM.  Pastor Kim Phillips will officiate.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to United Cerebral Palsy, 5736 Industry Lane, Frederick, MD 21704-5131.
