Harold Beachley
November 29, 1930 — July 26, 2017
Harold C. Beachley, 86, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Catherine I. Beachley.
Born on November 29, 1930, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late John Claude and Hazel Josephine Beachley.
He graduated from Boonsboro High School Class of 1948. Harold was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed with Mack Trucks for 30 years as a machinist. He was a member of UAW Local 171.
Harold was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Boonsboro. He loved riding his Gold Wing motorcycle and he was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders. He enjoyed bowling and golf.
In additon to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Cathy Sue Beachley of Middletown and Patsy Yommer of Boonsboro; two sons, Harold C. Beachley, Jr. and wife, Dawn of Middletown and W. Scott Beachley and wife, Tammy of Middletown; three grandchildren, Jamie Armstrong of Hagerstown, Jennifer Pepper and husband, Joe of Myersville and Audreyona Beachley and friend, Jonathan Leatherman of Middletown; and one great-grandson, Braden.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
