Hank Ray May

Hank Ray May, 54, of Hancock, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Doey's House in Hagerstown, MD. He was the beloved husband of Angela May. Born on June 1, 1970, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of Arthur May and Anna (Miss) May.

Hank proudly served his country in the US Army during the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Christina May and fiancé Connor Kishbaugh, step-children Andy and Jenna, granddaughter Daisy, sister Bev Sheetz, brother Arthur May and wife Sharon May along with nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 22 from 6-8 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 23 at 10 AM in the chapel of the funeral home, followed by a graveside service at Rocky Gap Veteran's Cemetery at 12 Noon.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for his granddaughter, Daisy's College Fund, made payable to Edward Jones.
