Guy Goddard
November 8, 1943 — February 16, 2017
Mr. Guy H. Goddard, Jr., 73, of Woodsboro, MD passed away from this earth to be with his Lord in heaven on Thursday, February 16, 2017. He was the beloved husband for 49 years to Linda Goddard. Born on November 8, 1943 in Johnstown, PA he was the son of the late Guy H. and Margaret Roberts Goddard.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his eight loving children: Guy (Butch) Goddard III and his wife Jessica, Dorie Olson and her husband Sean, Cassie Pennington and her husband Andrew, William Goddard and his wife Michelle, Elizabeth Bandy and her husband Mark, David Goddard and his wife Bethany, Bobby Goddard and his wife Arin, and Linda Fisher and her husband Josh. Guy was also the grandfather of twenty-three beloved grandchildren and loving brother to Becky Rizek, John Goddard, Peggy Terrell, Patricia Wooten, and the late Rosemary Goddard.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM on Monday, February 20, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 21, at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Rd, Walkersville. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. Please join us for refreshments at St. Timothy's Catholic Church after the internment.
