Gunda Christa Angelone

Gunda Angelone, who went by Christa, a long-time resident of Frederick, MD, passed away on December 9, 2023 in Kent, Ohio with her son, Erik, by her side. Christa was born in Sorau, Germany on February 27, 1942 to Erich and Hertha Schreiber. After graduating with a degree in teaching from Goethe University Frankfurt and relocating to the United States in the 1960s, Christa devoted her life to raising her two sons, Kevin and Erik. She then worked as a high school teacher of German and Latin (Frederick County Public Schools) for over 35 years. Teaching was her passion and she had a positive impact on the lives of so many students.

Christa is survived by her children, Kevin Angelone (and wife Michelle), Erik Angelone (and wife Susanne) and her grandchildren, Amelia Angelone and Mia Angelone. Christa will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Kent Ridge Senior Living and Traditions Health Hospice in Ohio for taking good care of Christa over the past few years.
