Mrs. Greta Camille Crowder, 51, of Thurmont, MD passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011 at her home. She was the wife of Colin Crowder for 26 years.
Born on June, 22, 1959 in Prince George’s County she was the daughter of the late Edward Carey Cale, Sr. and Irma Lee Connor.
Greta loved gardening, taking care of her chickens, hiking and enjoying nature. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband she is survived by son Carey Crowder of Thurmont; daughter Lyndsey Crowder of Cascade; son Dylan Crowder of Thurmont; granddaughter Kaelynn Dumas of Cascade; sister Nancy White of Laurel, MD and numerous other family members.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 1PM at Living Word Ministry, 13722 Monterey Lane, Blue Ridge Summit, PA 17214. The Rev. Warren Rice will officiate.
