Gregory "Greg" Brooks

Gregory (Greg) Gerard Brooks, 30, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, April 1, 2019.
Born on August 26, 1988, Silver Spring, Maryland. He was the son of Ritchie Brooks and Laurie (Gulden) Gillespie.
He graduated Walkersville High School and was employed at the Baltimore Electrical Union as an apprentice electrician.
Greg loved all types of sports. He was a big fan of Washington Capitals and Dallas Cowboys.
In addition to his parents he is survived by step-parents, Tony Gillespie and Khiani Brooks; grandmother, Wilda Brooks; step-brother, Brian Gillespie; aunts, Pat Collison, Melody Brooks and Kimberly Brooks; uncles, Gerard Gulden and Glenn Gulden and his wife Patti, William Brooks and wife Robin; cousins, Brian Gulden and wife, Joanie and daughter, Rylee, Krystal Gulden, Heather O'Brien and husband, Mike and sons, Michael, Tyler and Brady and Caitlin Digges. He is also survived by extended family, dear friends and his beautiful chocolate lab, Athena (Little Bear).
He is predeceased by his sister, Whitney Brooks; maternal grandparents, Gerard and Eileen Gulden; paternal grandfather, William Brooks; cousin, John Digges.
A celebration of Greg's life will be celebrated in the month of May. A date and time will be announced once plans have been finalized.
