Gregory Ayers, Sr.

Gregory Michael Ayers Sr., 41, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, August 17, 2017, at his residence.
He was the husband of Jessica L. Gallion Ayers, his wife of 20 years.
Born on November 23, 1975, in Bethesda, he was the son of Diane Carole Ayers of Kensington and the late John Randolph Ayers.
Greg worked in the construction industry most recently with HASCON Mechanical. He enjoyed going to the shooting range and coaching but most of all loved spending time with his family. Greg will be missed by those who knew him leaving his mark on many family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are three children: Bobby Ayers of Morgantown, WV, Kylie Ayers and Mikey Ayers both of Mt. Airy; a brother, John Ayers and wife Lori of Williamsport, MD, a sister, Laura Ayers Duggan and husband Steve of New Market and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM on Thursday, August 24, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy where funeral services will be held on Friday, August 25 at 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery, Kemptown, .
